Just a quick update on how things are going. Training is going well, I started my 3 big weeks of training last week which consists of a big week of swimming, then cycling and lastely running. Nearly at the end of the swim week – so far I have swam 12 miles in the sea, lake and pool but the sea is still so cold at the moment and thats made things tougher!

Soon there will be an interview aired on Purbeck Radio about all things Deca. So don’t forget to listen out. Also I am still looking for food sponsors to get me through the event so if you know anyone who is able to help me then give me a shout.

Currently the Race Director (hubby – Culvin) is putting together a plan for the 14 days of racing. We will have a dedicated crew and there will also be other volunteer roles. This epic event cannot be done singlehandly, there is a lot of background work to keep the athlete (ME!) fed and able to keep moving forwards. If you feel you can give up some of your time to help then please get in touch.

Lastly please check out my justgiving page, I am raising money for two amazing charities – look at the team page and click on the seperate links to read more.
